 All authorized clothing and footwear will be searched. Visual contact with the inmate shall be maintained at all times during this process. All inmates shall be restrained with handcuffs (behind the back) when escorted. |
Inmates shall be strip searched prior to being removed from their cells. The strip search will consist of removing all clothing and a visual inspection by the officer of the inmates unclothed body. Strip searches also include a visual inspection of the mouth, ears, hair, armpits, groin area, rectal area, and soles of the feet.
